Australian actor Margot Robbie has been spotted in new photos dressed in character as Barbie

as filming of the highly-anticipated live-action movie continues. The 31-year-old was pictured in Los Angeles leaving her trailer

on set in a hot pink flared trouser and crop with star embellishments and an iced coffee in hand.

The Wolf of Wall Street actor is starring alongside Ryan Gosling, as Ken, who is yet to be pictured on set.

Warner Bros. Pictures shared photos of the 41-year-old in character as Barbie’s counterpart last week

complete with bleached-blonde hair, double denim, washboard abs and even his own Ken branded underwear.

Little Women and Ladybird filmmaker Gerwig is directing the project, and wrote the script with American filmmaker Noah Baumbach.

Warner Bros previously revealed the film will be released in the US on July 21, 2023, as Australia awaits a confirmed release date.

The Australian sweetheart was announced to play the lead role in January 2019,

after comic actor Amy Schumer reportedly pulled out of the lead position due to “creative differences”.
